The kindest thing you can do to a 2 week old noob flying round low-sec in a BC is blow them up.

CONCORD is there to punish not to protect. High-sec is not safe space and was never intended to be. A huge amount of pvp goes on in High sec, it is not the PVE zone.
And not understanding the game mechanics doesn't mean the guy who pops you in 1.0 is bullying you.

Believe in what you like. It does not change my position regarding my interpretation, I know I am right and I feel I've discussed this subject to my satisfaction. I see no further reason to discuss it.

I'm did not write what I "believe" or my personal opinion. These are the simple facts of Eve.
It doesn't matter how you choose to interpret these facts. If you fly around in high-sec assuming you should be safe you are simply setting your self up for a fall.

And Aerilis, you have to remember that the "bad" stuff, the tears, the stuff that causes the outrage and the "OMGZ" is what gets written about, talked about and whined about the most. Just like with our media in the real world, people generally find bad stuff more interesting (if thats the right word) than the tale of a guy who honored a ransom last night. But that doesn't mean that there are not plenty of good and honourable folks out there in New Eden along with all the shady folks.
And if you come across people who really miss the point on the darker parts of Eve, well the best thing you can do is either a) clearly explain it or b) accept that they will have to learn the hard way, which for most people is the only way they figure it out. Learning the hard way is often a lesson never forgotten.
